My shower was installed improperly we have called the company numerous times they are very polite very nice very sympathetic but nobody ever calls back or ever follows through.

Electronic Toilet and Customer Service Response

non6 years ago we purchased two of your electronic battery flush toilets. The idea was great but they never worked right.

I I had to replace the actuator assembly and battery compartment four times. Each time your customer service rep was wonderful, sympathetic, and replaced the parts without charge. Then you came out with a new "waterproof" battery compartment that leaked! More replacements but great customer service support.

We finally got fed up with you guys and decided to replace the toilets with a manual design.

I could have bought Kohler, Lowes brand but wound up buying American Standard ASD clean EL. You scored F on product reliability but AA+ on customer service and got the next order.

Nothing but troubles with hvac system installed 10/2012. Because of disagreements over issue, the seller told me never to call again for repair or service even though they are obligated to take care of customer. IAQ Medics is a very poor representation of American Standard. Now I am faced with replacing system still under warranty.

Twin autistic ten year old boys removed the magnetic strip from the shower door and cut it into pieces. A replacement for said strip is unfortunately, not available. ( And Desiree in customer service declined to take the boys.)

Discriminatory Business

I had an appointment for someone to come out to provide a quote. They refused to come out unless my husband was there with me. I have not faced this type of discrimination since the 1970's. This tatic is a high pressure situation where they hope to make a decision on the spot with both spouses present. I will not use this company ever again. This is 2022 - and these tatics are not acceptable.

My toilet broke

I don't know what happened, all I know is the bowl cracked spilling water all over. It just broke.!!! T have another American standard toilet and it also broke. The bowl also cracked, is there a problem with American standard.

American Standard - Frustrated and Mad
4 years ago, I brought an American Standard Champion toilet. Recently I found a puddle on the floor, checked all the joints and fitting, no leaking. Examined in carefully, found a crack in the front of the warranty. As it is still under warranty, I sent in a request. After sending my invoice and pictures of the damage, I hear no feedback. Though I sent in five emails, the dont respond. This is how American Standard treats their customers, dont honour their warranty, drags the case for a longtime until you fed up.

I had a defective product do damage to my home and I am getting nowhere with your joke of customer service. My 5 year old home I custom built with all American standard fixtures had a defect I supplied prof of purchase pictures and videos. I want a response before I file with my local small claims court for damages.

Poor quality

Run, run as fast as you can away from American Standard. Take my advice do NOT ever buy an American Standard HVAC.

My HVAC is a little over a year old. My technician has been out numerous times to try and fix my issues. I called American Standard and they are unwilling to discuss any more repairs. Our old r22 unit worked better than the new one.

In fact my utility bill has increased 109% since the it was installed. They put a new circuit board and new coils in my unit but it still runs on average 45 minutes out of every hour and the fan/compressor that is outside freezes up. Over the course of a month, there have been numerous diagnostic test done on my system. The compressor also goes into a hard lock down.

Don't expect American Standard to stand by their product. For example, we reduce the temperature at night to 68 degrees. Got up this morning at 5:00 am, the unit was on. Set the temperature to 71 degrees.

Three hours later the unit is still running. Checked outside and as usual it has frost and ice inside the unit. Called technician and he gave American Standard number. I guess he is tired of trying to figure out what is wrong.

When I called, all they were interested in is knowing if a diagnostic test has been done in last six months. The last one was done three days ago and that was not good enough.

It is obvious this unit is a lemon or is the norm for American Standard. I have documentation and videos but I will not not upload on this website because I do not trust American Standard.

My system is a little of 2 years old ad have had the inducer motor replaced twice in less than a year and the huidifier that was in use on other AM STD HVAC systens will no longer work ( blows fuse in furnace) AM STD won't replace it. They did cover the replacement of the motor since it is still under warranty. For me their quality rating dropped to 1 or less
